The name Cineamo is composed of the English word 'cinema' and the Italian 'amore' (love) - because our heart beats for great movies and unforgettable cinema moments.
Our vision
Helping to shape the cinema of the future
A huge screen, outstanding surround sound, the smell of fresh popcorn. A visit to the cinema is such a special experience. But we thought it was a pity that this experience is withheld from people who are not satisfied with the current cinema program.
Our motivation
The Cineamo vision was born to change this, for the love of cinema - 'cinema' and 'amore'. We want to enable all moviegoers in Germany to rediscover the cinema experience for themselves.
Cinema can do more
Generation Y can also see the 'proper' Star Wars movies in the cinema, image-rich documentaries are experienced as never before, but why stop there? A movie theater is just as suitable for presentations or enjoying music, in keeping with the motto 'Make your cinema dreams come true'.
Our solution
Since 2019, we have been opening Germany's movie theaters to the intelligence of cinema enthusiasts and film lovers. Our app users become the program director of their local cinema and can exchange ideas with like-minded people. In this way, not only do we open cinemas to alternative content and visitor requests, but at the same time we promote the digital transformation of an entire industry.

The emergence of a vision
The Cineamo concept was an idea in the back of our founder Stefan's mind for a long time. Through his wife Doro - whose family has been running a cinema for decades - he has deep insights into the cinema industry and was fascinated early on by the opportunities and challenges brought by digitization.
